Why did you choose Dalton State? I chose Dalton State because of the opportunity the school offers. Yes, Dalton State is diverse and affordable, but since I have been here I have been involved in an abundance of on-campus activities, and I have now found my place here with the Residential Life department.
What do you plan to do after graduation? After graduation I plan to go into the Navy, working in the law enforcement and security division.
Who is/was your favorite professor and why? My favorite professor is Natalie Johnson. Even though I have only had a couple of her classes, she holds all of her students to a high standard and makes her students not only understand the material but work hard to pass her class. That is something that motivates me to work hard in school.
What activities are you involved in on campus? I am president of RHA (Residential Hall Association), member of Lambda Alpha Epsilon (criminal justice fraternity), and an Office Assistant for Residential Life.
What are some of your biggest achievements or accomplishments at Dalton State? Some of my biggest achievements would be juggling everything I am involved in from my off-campus job, being a full time student, and being someone who is considered a leader on campus.
What are some of your favorite activities in and around Dalton? My favorite activity around Dalton is hiking.
Where is your favorite study spot? My favorite study spot is in the chat area in Mashburn Hall. It’s quiet and at night you can see the stars if you’re on the fourth floor.
Where is your favorite hangout? My favorite hangout is my room. I love to sleep when I’m not busy.
What is your best memory so far as part of the Roadrunner Nation? My best memory would be the first week of school. My roommate, Aja Stanton, and I went to the CAB paint party on the quad. It started to rain and yet the students kept partying. This showed me that Dalton State had spirit no matter what the circumstances were. The funniest part of the night was that we were told the paint wouldn’t stain our clothes so come with all white on. Unfortunately, it did! I threw away everything but I kept my shirt as a memory of that night.
Favorite comfort food? Chicken Alfredo
Favorite line from a movie? Friday After Next – “Don’t be sorry. Be careful!”
What is your guilty pleasure? Shopping
If you won the lottery, what would you do? Spend a year traveling the country

What does it mean to you to be part of the Roadrunner Nation? Being a part of Roadrunner Nation means being involved and active in your school, being happy that you are a part of a school that is growing, and loving that you are a part of the traditions we develop every day.
